Kojin-san is considered the guardian deity of Buddhism, the Dharma, and the Sangha, and is also called Sanbo Kojin,
He is also the god of fire and is visited by many worshipers.
Tateriko Shrine was established when Kobo Daishi founded Koyasan.
In order to protect the temple's prosperity and esoteric Buddhism, we drew the Three Treasures of Kojin on a board and enshrined it in the place of Kokojin.
It is said that the great temple complex of Koyasan was built by inviting the god of evil to the northeast (the unlucky direction) of the platform.
It is also one of Nosegawa Village Unkai Scenic Spots.
