Notes

From Koyasan, take R371 (the old Koya Ryujin Skyline) and turn east at point 10.6. It's a 20-minute drive, or 60 minutes from R168, Kodaishita.

  • When using a car

    【From the Osaka/ Kobe area】
    From Kihoku Katsuragi IC Keinawa Expressway, take National Route 480 (towards Katsuragi Town / Hanasaka) towards Koyasan in Wakayama Prefecture.
    From Koyasan, head south on Koya Ryujin Skyline (R371).
    Turn left in front of "Restaurant Tsuruhime".
    We proceeded Tainohara Forest Road and arrived at "Hotel Nosegawa" after about 8km.
    *It's about 20km from Koyasan, approximately a 40-minute drive.
    Please contact us when it snows.
    【From the Nara area】
    Proceed along Gojo (R168), then turn right Kodaishita, Oto Town, Gojo City. (Prefectural Route 53)
    Turn left at Nogawa towards Kamigaito. (Prefectural Route 733)
    We proceed from Nosegawa Village Office → Kitamata → Taira → Omata.
    After about 3km, you will arrive at Hotel Nosegawa.
    *It's about 50 minutes from the intersection with Route 168.

    *In winter, snow accumulates, so cars should be equipped with tires wrapped with chains,
    Alternatively, a 4WD vehicle is suitable.

  • When using a train

    Nankai Electric Railway"Namba Station" ~ Koya Line ~ Final stop"Koyasan Station”
    It is extremely difficult to reach Koyasan Station by public transportation.
    For hotel guests, a free shuttle bus service is available to Koyasan Station.
    Please contact us as reservations are required.
    *Please note that the shuttle bus is not available for campgrounds or day trippers.

    The village bus does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, but the facility's staff will pick you up at the same time.
    Free transportation is provided along with the return trip.
